Does your Business need Fingertip Towels?

Mar 17th 2019

One of the most difficult things for new hotels and restaurants is determining how to choose the right towels for different functions.

To many upcoming hotels and restaurants, towels are just that, towels and each can be interchanged with others to fit any other function. What they do not know is that choosing the right towels, for each purpose, for you facility whether you are a bed and breakfast, hotel, massage, spa or salon, or a restaurant can make all the difference what it comes to giving your customers the best experience.

One of the most misunderstood towels in the hotel service industry is the fingertip towel. While it was more popular in the early times when the royals dined big meals with different courses at one sitting, it is still very functional and important in today’s dining room.

You will mostly use a fingertip towel in your restaurants and dining rooms as it is used to wipe off hands after washing in preparation for a meal. It is often the smallest towel with the smallest measuring thirteen inches by thirteen. The towel has to be of the highest quality, fluffy, flush, luxurious and clean when offered to customers for use. It also has to be made from the most absorbent material so that customers can dry off their hands quickly. Also make sure that it does not leave customers with residue.

In the modern service where there are disposable hand towels to use in dining rooms and tables, fingertip towels have also adopted other functions. You can offer them to your customers as washcloths that they can use for washing their body, feet or face. No matter what purpose you use it for, it is disadvantageous for your business to overlook the important role fingertip towels will play in your facility.
